The four carry triggers replace the refusals that owned them: an attrs key no section lists, a value that is not the section's type, an arg slot holding no bare token, and marks no nesting spells.

A mark demand names the run's nodes and the line re-emits with them carried, so the flanking case resolves the same way the others do; a carried node joins no run, so no emitted carry sits inside a mark spelling. unspellable-mark leaves ConvertErrorCode — nothing produces it now.

Maintainer decisions: a link mark lacking the href its spelling needs carries (spec/flavour.md, Marks), and the dead code goes rather than holding a slot (AGENTS.md §8).
