The maintainer's answers, recorded at the sub-items that asked them: markdown/ parts into emit/ and parse/ at 3a; the node tables get a test that reads spec/flavour.md; a claimed line ends lazy continuation; the spec suite asserts fixpoint, text preservation and construct counts.
