The maintainer's answers, at the sub-items that asked them: the tight spelling keeps its bytes and a blank line goes in only where a nested list would be swallowed (3c); 1d's link pair takes the backslash inside the delimiters it already has (3e); the four constructs bind before a directive in input as well as in output (3f); a CommonMark block and a directive block sit adjacent in a container body (3h).

That empties corpus/unspellable/, which 3h now names.
