Removes the readable-then-directive retry in the markdown emitter's list walk, exponential in depth. The walk reports its headroom (the least slack any depth guard below it has), so a list giving way after its walk refuses when the directive form's extra level no longer fits instead of walking again; the depth counts of both directions are unchanged (AGENTS.md §11). The parser's per-level readable check is recorded as 4c's sixth site.
