Every reference path into a category reads one draw per render (one Fake or one record) in both views; each repeat iteration draws anew; a bare reference still draws each time. A new group option splits a render into several entities. One render-scope fence replaces the record-only column fence and the reference half of the per-template hold check. Closes the Draw groups item in todo.md.
